The application was built within the scope of the Institutional Technological Initiation Scholarship Program - PIBITI (EDITAL DIRPE No.
5/2022) of the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU.
In this context, we sought to develop a mobile application aimed at the general population, with the aim of providing access to essential information about the municipality of Ituiutaba (MG).
This application covers several aspects of the municipality, including a brief history of the city, the location of basic health units, the main streets and public transport schedules/itineraries.
Furthermore, the application seeks to make statistical data collected by the IBGE Demographic Census accessible to citizens, such as income and population by neighborhood and the number of inhabitants of Ituiutaba (MG).
The proposal is to make this data more accessible to the general public, and can be used both to support teaching and for the populations daily demands.
In this version, the application is still presented in its preliminary version, solely with the aim of demonstrating the possibilities and potential of reconciling the use of applications to support the dissemination and dissemination of socioeconomic information among the population.
